Terms of Service

Welcome to Solace. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Solace mobile application and related websites (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Master Solace. By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Solace. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Your account

When you create an account, you are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Solace offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock the full experience. Your subscription begins with a free trial of the length shown at purchase, followed by a recurring charge at the price displayed on the paywall.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least twenty-four hours before the renewal date.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable once a billing period has begun.

4. Your content

Solace allows you to write and save affirmations and reflections (“Your Content”). You retain all rights in Your Content. You grant Master Solace a limited license to store and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service for you.

You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring it does not violate any law or infringe the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not attempt to access it by any method other than the interface and instructions we provide, and you will not use the Service to harm yourself or others.

6. Health disclaimer

Solace is a wellness companion, not a medical device. Nothing in the Service is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental or physical health condition. If you are in crisis, please contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, typography, copy, and software, is the property of Master Solace and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or brand elements.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Master Solace disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Master Solace will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
